Matthew 14:16, 19, 20

16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

Now that you've read the introduction and the rescue stories, you can better understand what survivors of Christian slaughter can do to a family. Truly, the sights of destruction to the homes, the sounds of wailing from the women, and cries from the children, and finally, having to provide with little-to-no funds to keep the rescuees fed is heavy on the soul. Though keenly felt, the heaviness is not due to the financial struggle for VOZI because God always provides in His time. It is the continual sounds and visions thinking what it was like for the survivors of Christians who were slaughtered.

One village VOZI visited, a 7-year-old girl was raped by one of the killers and then commanded at gun point to bury her daddy's body parts. Of all the severed limbs to pick up and hold in your hands to bury, the head is the worst! And this little girl had to do just that. I helped her to bury her dad's remains. What does this do to a child's mind who doesn't understand sex and having to deal with the horrific pain of rape?  Such abused children haven't had the opportunity to enjoy life that all children are entitled to? The 7-year-old girl will always remember having to bury her dad's body pieces? Her father doted on her--daddy's little girl.

You are asking yourself, why does a God who claims to love all His children allow such atrocities? The answer to that requires in-depth study. Let me take this opportunity to share this much with you from the mouth of God, Himself.

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
